Data Retention Policy

This schedule describes how long TickWing expects to retain major data categories and what happens after verified account deletion.

Sightings and precise location data	Retained with the sighting record	Deleted within 30 days	Records shared outside TickWing may be governed by the receiving service policies.

Deletion and backups

When a verified deletion request is fulfilled in primary systems, new backups should no longer include the deleted active data. Existing backup snapshots that still contain the data should be purged as they cycle out of the retention window. Backup snapshots may take up to 90 days to cycle out after primary deletion.
